Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Delivery Manager for one of our UK-based clients who is working with one of the biggest variety store chains from Europe, with almost 1000 shops worldwide to oversee the efficient and timely delivery of Shopify development projects. As a non-technical leader, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication, project planning, and successful execution to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Shopify development projects while adhering to Timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to define project scopes, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure clear communication throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and refine project management methodologies to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, timelines, and any potential roadblocks.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure that deliverables meet the defined standards and are aligned with client requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by analyzing past project performance, gathering feedback, and implementing lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in project or delivery management within software development, preferably with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong CommunicaMon: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and management abilities with a keen eye for detail. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative Approach: Proven experience in fostering collaboration and teamwork in a diverse and distributed work environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
